LOD-companions and talent development

TALENT DEVELOPMENT

LOD is strongly committed to the development of young talent or makers who are new to opera and music theatre. Through the European Network of Opera Academies (enoa), the annual Bijloke Summer Academy – Music Theater (in collaboration with SPECTRA, KASK, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke and International Opera Academy) and the 10x10 collaboration with Kunstencentrum Vooruit, we support many young performing artists with a passion for musical theatre.

Below you get to know some artists who have recently created a performance at LOD from one of these three trajectories.

LOD-COMPANIONS

In addition to the LOD artists and composers, our doors are also open to other makers who cross our path. Artistic partners along the route with whom the collaborations are always surprising, but never coincidental. For them too, LOD music theatre wants to be an umbrella platform, an organisation that helps them to continue their course at their own pace and speed ...
